When the weather turns cooler, it is time to collect and preserve the electric fans that have been in use all summer, specifically to do the following.
- Disassemble the parts correctly as required by the electric fan wiring drawings. When operating, first open the net cover clip, loosen the fastening bolts on the airfoil sleeve and remove the airfoil; unscrew the four screw caps fixing the rear net cover, remove the gasket and the rear net cover and restore the screw cap gasket.
- Maintain the plated parts well. First, wipe the dust stain and water vapor from the plated parts with a soft cloth, then apply a thin layer of machine oil for protection. Please note that the oil must be wiped clean before it is applied, otherwise the water will not evaporate easily after the oil is applied, which may cause corrosion of the dust spot and cause rusting of the plated parts instead.
- Do a good job of maintenance of the painted parts. Wipe clean with a soft cloth, if the stain on it is not easy to wipe off, use soapy water containing less alkali to scrub, or wipe with a small amount of paraffin, then clean and wipe dry. After dismantling the wind blade, wrap it with soft paper and put it between the front and rear mesh to avoid deforming the angle of the wind blade.
- Maintenance of other parts. The power cord should not come into contact with harmful gases, such as mosquito incense and gas, otherwise, it will change color or even have an accident. The motor bearing is a copper-bearing containing oil, in order to make it not lose oil, you can inject the right amount of oil in the oil-filling hole. The beginning of the shaking head knob is placed on the shaking head position so that the pressure spring is not in a non-compressed state.
- In addition, before putting the fan head into plastic bags and cartons, it is best to run the fan head at no load for ten minutes and wait until the fan head has cooled completely before packing, so that the motor can be in a dry state during the winter.
